Noise pollution is harmful levels of noise. An example of noise pollution is construction noise. When there is a constitution happening, this is an example of noise pollution. Some of its major causes are vehicles, aircraft, industrial machines, loudspeakers, crackers, etc. When used at high volume, some other appliances also contribute to noise pollution, like television, transistor, radio, etc. Noise pollution is one of the types of pollution that goes unrecognized to many people. According to The Guardian, an article by Karen Bakkershe said “ Even moderate levels of noise – the kind that surrounds us in any urban environment – increase risks of cardiovascular disease.” This shows us that this issue is real and many people can suffer from this. Even the sound of a car coming down the street can make someone have a really big headache. We should try to keep the noise down but living in an urban area is hard because the sound is coming from left and right. Ways to prevent noise pollution is to turn off home appliances, control noise in a sensitive space and Shut the door when using noisy machines. Many people may not know about noise pollution but we can at least try to help the people who have this issue.
