Pollution Can Make Your Drinking Water Toxic

We all know what water pollution is and how bad it is for the planet. Water pollution is the introduction to toxic chemicals in the water. This water that is being contaminated is water that we use for cooking, cleaning, drinking, swimming, etc. If we keep doing this we may not have any more water. According to the CDC an article called Lead in Drinking Water it says “Lead can enter drinking water when a chemical reaction occurs in plumbing materials that contain lead. This is known as corrosion – dissolving or wearing away of metal from the pipes and fixtures. This reaction is more severe when water has high acidity or low mineral content.” This shows us that water pollution could even lead to having lead in our drinking water because you can have a chemical reaction that occurs that is how water pollution happens. You have these toxic chemicals be put into our water and it is very dangerous. We have to keep this planet clean.
