Water pollution is one of the most highly known forms of pollution. Water pollution is at times seen as a problem for the sea life and not us, but that is incorrect. Water pollution is bad for both of the sides suffering from this issue, us and the animals in the ocean. It's bad for sea life because the fishes are eating the plastic that the humans throw in the ocean which is making the numbers of deaths in fish go up. Since we all go to the beach in the summer we get angry because the water isn’t clean but just remember that wrapper that you threw in the ocean a few weeks and or days before. Throwing trash is also not the only way that we cause water pollution but water pollution also includes chemicals, trash, bacteria, and parasites. All forms of pollution eventually make their way to water. According to Britannica, an article by Jerry A. Nathanson says that "Sewage can promote algae growth, which can eventually result in eutrophic “dead zones” where aquatic life cannot survive because of a lack of oxygen. Micro plastics are often found in marine wildlife.” In addition, pollution makes parts of water a hazard to swim in. For example, the Hudson River is filled with PCB's so dangerous that the public not allowed to even fish there. This shows us how we are killing wildlife by the sewage pipes. Not only is it trash it's also the sewage pipe. We need to help the environment become a clean and safe place for the next generation.
